Baby's first podcast

I recorded my first podcast for the Lawrence Journal-World Sunday night, and I'm pretty pleased with it. Or at least the way I sound. Usually my voice sounds pretty disconnected when recorded, but I think sound pretty darn good, if I do say so myself. The Journal-World, of course, is pretty well known for the steps it's taking to integrate different media, and the "Morning Rush" podcast is an example of that.

The hardest part was dialing down the content of today's stories to sound podcast-appropriate. I'm certain I'll do a more concise and broadcast-friendly job in the future. Until then, check it out.
